Volunteer Drivers - The greatest volunteer need is for drivers to assist New Neighbors who do not have their drivers license. New Neighbors have regular medical appointments, educational opportunities, or social gatherings (like the sewing circle).  

 

Welcome Families - Encouraged to think of themselves as the local family for New Neighbors, these dedicated volunteers visit regularly with their New Neighbor family, help them get to know Muncie, and host special outings and/or dinners. Welcome families have no financial commitment, though some elect to support additional needs as they arise.

Other Opportunities - Volunteers help in a variety of ways.  We’d love to hear from you and about the skills, knowledge, and talents you may be able to offer!   New Neighbors have appreciated tutoring, arts, music, and sports opportunities. Other volunteers offer administrative support.  We’d love to hear what interests you.
